About
I am currently obtaining a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Ohio University. I am working in the newly-founded Center of Electrochemical Engineering Research under Dr Gerardine G. Botte at Ohio University.
My dissertation is on the analysis of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Anodes in the presence of hydrogen sulfide. Although work has gone on in this field for a while, I am looking at this from a Computational Chemistry perspective i.e. using programs such as Gaussian and Crystal to model these anodes.
In addition, I am also working on other alternative energy research including ammonia oxidation in the presence of platinum and urea oxidation in the presence of nickel oxyhydroxide.
