About

I bring more than seven years of combined international experience in journalism, public relations, communication consulting and academia to Towson University. At Towson, I teach undergraduate communication courses in public speaking, human communication, strategic public relations and quantitative communication research. My dissertation research focuses on an interpretive analysis of ‘communicative tensions’ experienced by PR and corporate communication professionals as they build and maintain relationships with journalists, clients, supervisors and subordinates. To date, I have had three publications, one NCA top paper award, eight competitive conference papers and five teaching preparations to my credit.
