I received a B.A. and M.A.(Delhi School of Economics) in Economics from Delhi University, India and a PhD in Economics from the University of Houston. The title of my dissertation is "Essays on Effects of Affrmative Action: Evidence from Job and Political Reserervation Policies in India" .
My current research uses applied econometric techniques to gain insights into poverty and inequality in India and other developing countries. Projects include quantifying the effects of affirmative action policies, gender inequality, and bureaucratic efficiency in India.
