About
Shane Tilton is a PhD candidate in Ohio University as an Individual Interdisciplinary Program (I.I.P.) whose home school is the School of Media Arts and Studies. His main research interest deals with new media and computer mediated communication within the framework of sociological theory. His dissertation research is dealing with how social networks aid in coping/adjustment of the incoming students to universities. Shane is currently an instructor of Electronic Media at Ohio University of Zanesville, where he has been for 6 years.
